I’m a gaming-loving, podcast-listening, comedy/theatre/music nerd who was born in Iran and raised in Vancouver.

 

I'm currently a graduate student at the Centre for Digital Media. I'm an experienced producer and product manager who has raised over $2 million for the non-profit arts, and is now transitioning into the tech world.

 

I can't shut up about the things I love, so naturally I spent my career before the CDM in fundraising and marketing, convincing people to invest in the wonder and awe of the arts. I’m insatiably curious. I love learning, and weaving together threads to create something new. That’s why my undergraduate degree was interdisciplinary. By looking at things through a prism of perspectives, you can shed light on stories and people.

 

As a producer, it’s been incredibly rewarding to bring stories and solutions into the world (and market!) where they can be shared. I love people and ideas, and bringing them together to make amazing things. I spent 6 years happily doing this in the arts. Last year, I decided to take my career to the next level by undertaking a master of digital media degree to marry my love of design, tech, and business.
